Isaiah Campbell
Campbell, this season, has had a tough go of it with the Red Sox. In six games, he’s posting a 7.04 ERA, a 1.83 WHIP, and has three strikeouts in 7.2 innings. Campbell last pitched on Saturday, in which he went 0.2 innings, giving up three runs on four hits. He didn’t issue a walk or record a strikeout. In 34 games at Triple-A Worcester, he is 6-6 with a 4.17 ERA, a 1.59 WHIP, and 41 strikeouts in 45.1 innings.
Richard Fitts
Fitts has made ten starts for the Red Sox this season, going 1-4 with a 4.83 ERA, a 1.32 WHIP, and 34 strikeouts in 41 innings. In the minors this season, he has made seven starts, going 2-1 with a 1.37 WHIP, and 27 strikeouts in 30 innings. He has never made an appearance out of the bullpen in the big leagues, so this will be an interesting experiment for Fitts as he faces the team that drafted him.
