The starter for tonight’s game is still unknown. Reports suggest that right-handed pitcher Richard Fitts is in Milwaukee with the team. Fitts was supposed to make a rehab start tonight. However, it looks like he will be back with the Red Sox. Fitts made a rehab start last Thursday at Double-A Portland, going three shutout innings, giving up four hits. He didn’t issue a walk and struck out two. In three starts with the Red Sox this season, he went 0-2 with a 3.18 ERA, a 1.12 WHIP, and 13 strikeouts in 17 innings. Fitts left his start against the Chicago White Sox on April 12th with a pectoral injury. The corresponding move hasn’t been announced yet, assuming Fitts is activated as expected.
