Reports have surfaced indicating that the Baltimore Orioles have made an audacious move by promoting the top prospect in Major League Baseball. Jackson Holliday, son of the former St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday, has been summoned to the Orioles’ squad, with the reason behind this sudden decision yet to be revealed. Following Spring Training, Holliday was assigned to play for the Orioles’ AAA affiliate, the Norfolk Tides, where he continued to impress with his remarkable performances. He scored 18 runs, made 14 hits, including five doubles, two home runs, nine RBIs, 12 walks, one stolen base, and eight strikeouts in just ten games. His slash line with the Tides was an impressive .333/.482/.595.

In 2023, Holliday played for all four of the Orioles’ minor league affiliates, playing an impressive 125 games. During this time, he scored 113 runs, made 154 hits, 30 doubles, nine triples, and 12 home runs. Furthermore, he had 75 RBIs, 101 walks, two intentional walks, 24 stolen bases, and 118 strikeouts. His combined slash line for the year was an outstanding .323/.442/.499.
