The Atlanta Braves are off today following a loss to the Washington Nationals last night 5-1, as Max Fried suffered the loss going six innings giving up four runs on 11 hits; he didn’t issue a walk and struck out six. The Braves’ lone run came in the Top of the 6th when Jorge Soler doubled home Michael Harris II; Harris and Soler both had two hits each while Ramon Laureano and Matt Olson also added a hit each. Today the Braves activated catcher Travis d’Arnaud from the paternity list and optioned catcher Chadwick Tromp to Triple-A Gwinnett.
