Ronald Acuña Jr.
Ronald Acuña’s rehabilitation included a successful stint with Triple-A Gwinnett. He showcased his readiness by going 6-for-15. He hit two home runs and two RBIs over six games. Braves manager Brian Snitker confirmed that Acuña feels prepared and is eager to contribute to the team’s success.
Acuña is known for his dynamic play. He made history in 2023 by becoming the first MLB player to achieve a 40-homer, 70-stolen-base season. Over his career, he boasts a .289 batting average, 165 home runs, and 196 stolen bases across 722 games, with four All-Star appearances.
In light of his previous ACL injuries, Acuña has adjusted his approach to base running. He prefers stealing around 30 bases to maintain health. He doesn’t aim to match his 2023 total of 73 stolen bases. This adjustment ensures a balance that supports longevity in his career.
