Ryan Cusick – Right-Hand Pitcher
The Athletic’s have optioned Ryan Cusick today March 10th, 2025 to the Triple-A Las Vegas Aviators. Over three games this spring Cusick pitched 2.2 innings without allowing a run and striking out six. Ryan Cusick heads back to Las Vegas where he finished the season last year in Triple-A. Across three levels of minors last year Cusick had three wins and four losses. He also had a combined 4.66 ERA to go along with 66 strikeouts over 63.2 innings worked.
Gunnar Hoglund – Right-Hand Pitcher
The Athletic’s have optioned Hoglund today March 10th, 2025 to the Triple-A Las Vegas Aviators. Hoglund struggled this spring finishing with a 7.71 ERA over 4.2 innings worked. While Hoglund gave up runs, he also missed a lot of bats, totaling nine strikeouts this spring. He heads back to where he ended last year with Las Vegas where he will be plugged into their rotations. Last year he made five starts for the Aviators going winless and losing three games with a 5.88 ERA.
Denzel Clarke – Outfielder
The Athletic’s have optioned Denzel Clarke today March 10, 2025 to the Triple-A Las Vegas Aviators. Clarke struggled at the plate this spring and finishes camp with a .167 batting average. He spent all of last year with the Midland Rockhounds in Double-A. over 116 games last year he had 21 doubles, eight triples, 13 home runs, 53 RBIs, and stole 36 bases. Clarke finished last year with a .269 batting average and a slash line of .359/.467/.826.
