It has been a quiet few weeks on the trade market for the defending World Series Champions, but General Manager Chris Young is now making moves with the deadline only two days away. Ken Rosenthal was the first to break the news on X that the Texas Rangers and the Detroit Tigers had agreed on a deal that would send veteran catcher Carson Kelly to Arlington and right-handed pitcher Tyler Owens and catcher Liam Hicks to Detroit. Kelly fills the final spot in the 40-man roster and will be activated upon his arrival.
