
Bryce Harper was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 16, 1992. He played high school baseball at Las Vegas High School in Henderson, NV. Harper was the top-ranked catcher and player in the country in 2011. He was nabbed as the “Chosen One” for baseball. Harper won the Baseball America high school player of the year award. He committed to play baseball at the College of Southern Nevada.

Harper entered his first professional season as the top-ranked prospect by Baseball America. He would play for Single-A Hagerstown and Double-A Harrisburg. In 72 games with Hagerstown, he hit .318 with a .977 OPS. He had 17 doubles, a triple, 14 home runs, 46 RBI, and 49 runs scored. In Harrisburg, he played in 37 games, hitting .256 with a .724 OPS.
2012
Harper in year two was ranked again as the top prospect by Baseball America, and he ranked second by MLB Pipeline. He played at Triple-A Syracuse, where in 21 games he hit .243 with a .690 OPS. Harper had four doubles, a triple, a home run, three RBI, and eight runs scored. The Nationals would then call up the young phenom to make his big league debut, where he played in 139 games. Harper played in 147 games for the Nationals, hitting .243 with a .814 OPS. He had 24 doubles, two triples, 24 home runs, 86 RBI, and 84 runs scored. Harper was an All-Star.
2017
In 111 games with Washington, he hit .319 with a 1.008 OPS. He had 27 doubles, a triple, 29 home runs, 87 RBI, and 95 runs scored. He finished 12th in MVP voting and was named to the All-Star team for the fifth time.

His last season with Washington he played in 159 games hitting .249 with a .889 OPS. He had 34 doubles, 34 home runs, 100 RBI, and 103 runs scored. Harper was once again named an All-Star.
2019
Harper, in free agency, signed with the Philadelphia Phillies a 13-year, $330 million deal. He hit .260 with a .882 OPS. He had 36 doubles, a triple, 35 home runs, 114 RBI, and 98 runs scored.
2020
The 2020 season was shortened which Harper played in only 58 games. He hit .268 with a .962 OPS and had nine doubles, two triples, 13 home runs, 33 RBI, and 41 runs scored.
2021
Harper in 141 games hit .309 with a 1.044 OPS. He had 42 doubles, a triple, 35 home runs, 84 RBI, and 101 runs scored. He won the MVP and took home a Silver Slugger.
2022
Harper did play in two rehab games with Triple-A Lehigh Valley in 2022. He went 5-8 with two doubles, two home runs, six RBI, and three runs scored.
