Picks of the Day, 4/14

Randy Arozarena made me money early yesterday. Can Castellanos help me today?

Another 2-1 day overshadowed by the fact that I have been hitting my reach picks almost every day! An Arozarena home run of Chris Sale in the 1st inning yesterday, meant I didn’t care what happened the rest of the day. I also had Springs under 17.5 outs recorded, and he left early with an injury, and the A’s game over 10 (again) that ended up at 15. Unfortunately the Blue Jays inexplicably lost to the Tigers.

19-19 on the season. It’s Friday, and Shohei and Trout are in town. LFG!!

Pick #1
Braves @ Royals, Total Over 9 Runs, -110
Morton is usually good for 3 or 4, Brady Singer is no Charlie Morton….

Pick #2
Angels @ Red Sox, Total Under 9.5, -115
Sandoval and Houck have been fairly stingy, Red Sox lineup is hitting a collective .150 or so. I hate unders, but this feels right.

Pick #3
Mets @ A’s, Mets Total Team Runs Over 4.5, -120
Not sure how total runs is only 8 for this game. I’ve hit like 5 straight overs with the A’s, have to keep it up til it fails.

Reach
Conner Overton is going to allow a home run. First thought was Schwarber, but he’s only at +150, so that’s not a reach. Nick Castellanos has not homered yet. So, Castellanos +500 to hit a HR is the pick. (and, I’ll probably put a little on Schwarber)
