The 2024 All-Star Game is set to be played on July 16th at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The rosters will be announced on July 7th and the American League squad will be led by Bruce Brochy from the Texas Rangers so what player could represent your team in the Midsummer Classic?

Baltimore Orioles: SS – Gunnar Henderson

The Orioles will likely have multiple representatives at the All-Star game but Henderson will be there. This season he is hitting .273 (T-35th in MLB) with a .959 OPS (5th in MLB); he has 12 doubles, four triples (T-8th), 21 home runs (2nd in MLB), 47 RBI (12th in MLB), 55 runs scored (3rd in MLB), nine stolen bases, and 38 walks (10th in MLB).

Honorable Mention: RHP – Corbin Burnes, C – Adley Rutschman

Boston Red Sox: RHP – Tanner Houck

Houck has turned into an ace in 2024 making 14 starts going 7-5 with a 2.08 ERA (T-4th in MLB), a 2.20 FIP, a 0.95 WHIP (8th in MLB), and 89 strikeouts (T-17th in MLB) in 91 innings (3rd in MLB). There is a conversation that Houck could be a starter for the All-Star game.

Honorable Mention: 3B – Rafael Devers, OF – Jarren Duran

Chicago White Sox: LHP – Garrett Crochet

Crochet has looked solid this season despite the White Sox struggles. Through 15 starts he is 6-5 with a 3.16 ERA, a 2.71 FIP, a 0.90 WHIP (2nd in MLB), and 116 strikeouts (T-1st in MLB) in 82.2 innings (T-22nd in MLB).

Honorable Mention: OF – Gavin Sheets

Cleveland Guardians: 3B – Jose Ramirez

Ramirez is one of the best players in the league and continued to lead the Guardians in 2024. Through 66 games he is hitting .269 with a .864 OPS (15th in MLB); he has 14 doubles, one triple, 18 home runs (5th in MLB), 62 RBI (2nd in MLB), 51 runs scored (T-6th in MLB), 11 stolen bases, and 24 walks.

Honorable Mention: OF – Steven Kwan, 1B – Josh Naylor

Detroit Tigers: LHP – Tarik Skubal

Skubal was an early Cy Young candidate in 2024 and to this point, he’s proving he deserves to be. Through 14 starts he is 8-2 with a 2.20 ERA (7th in MLB), a 2.43 FIP, a 0.91 WHIP (3rd in MLB), and 98 strikeouts (T-6th in MLB) in 86 innings (T-12th in MLB)

Honorable Mention: RHP – Jack Flaherty, OF – Riley Greene

Houston Astros: DH – Yordan Alvarez

Alvarez has turned into one of the most clutch hitters in baseball and this season through 69 games he is hitting .289 (T-20th in MLB) with a .877 OPS (13th in MLB); he has 16 doubles (T-16th in MLB), one triple, 14 home runs (T-15th in MLB), 36 RBI, 40 runs scored (T-25th in MLB), three stolen bases, and 28 walks.

Honorable Mention: 2B – Jose Altuve, RHP – Ronel Blanco

Kansas City Royals: RHP – Seth Lugo

Lugo has been a surprise this season and one of the best offseason additions. Through 14 starts he is 9-2 with a 2.36 ERA (8th in MLB), a 3.47 FIP, a 1.04 WHIP (T-18th in MLB), and 75 strikeouts (T-36th in MLB) in 91.1 innings (2nd in MLB).

Honorable Mention: C – Salvador Perez, SS – Bobby Witt Jr.

Los Angeles Angels: LHP – Tyler Anderson

Anderson has been a surprise this season for the Angels making 14 starts going 6-6 with a 2.58 ERA (9th in MLB), a 4.67 FIP, a 1.19 WHIP, and 58 strikeouts in 87.1 innings (9th in MLB).

Honorable Mention: OF – Taylor Ward

Minnesota Twins: RHP – Jhoan Duran

The flamethrower has become a lockdown closer, this season in 20 appearances he is 2-2 with ten saves, a 3.66 ERA, a 4.92 FIP, a 1.11 WHIP, and 17 strikeouts in 19.2 innings.

Honorable Mention: SS – Carlos Correa, 1B – Carlos Santana

New York Yankees: OF – Aaron Judge

Judge is off to a record-setting season despite a slow April. This season through 71 games he is hitting .301 (T-10th in MLB) with a 1.115 OPS (1st in MLB); he has 22 doubles (2nd in MLB), one triple, 25 home runs (1st in MLB), 63 RBI (1st in MLB), 55 runs scored (T-3rd in MLB), five stolen bases, and 56 walks (1st in MLB).

Honorable Mention: OF – Juan Soto, RHP – Luis Gil

Oakland A’s: RHP – Mason Miller

Miller has burst onto the scene in 2024 and been a lockdown reliever in the back end of the A’s bullpen. Through 24 games he is 1-1 with 12 saves (T-10th in MLB), a 2.27 ERA, a 1.97 FIP (10th in MLB), a 0.85 WHIP (19th in MLB), 56 strikeouts (1st in MLB), a 15.9 K/9 (1st in MLB) in 31.2 innings.

Honorable Mention: OF – Brent Rooker

Seattle Mariners: C – Cal Raleigh

Raleigh has been a top catcher in not just the American League but in all of baseball, definitely in the top five offensively. Through 66 games he is hitting .207 with a .685 OPS; he has seven doubles, 12 home runs (2nd Among C), 42 RBI (19th in MLB), 26 runs scored (7th among C), one stolen base, and 23 walks.

Honorable Mention: RHP – Logan Gilbert, RHP – Luis Castillo

Tampa Bay Rays: 3B – Isaac Paredes

The Rays have struggled this season but Paredes is having another great year. Through 65 games he is hitting .285 (25th in MLB) with a .831 OPS (24th in MLB); he has 14 doubles, ten home runs, 38 RBI, 27 runs scored, and 25 walks.

Honorable Mention: 1B – Yandy Diaz

Texas Rangers: 2B – Marcus Semien

Semien has been a key piece to the Rangers since joining them and he’s turning out another solid season in 2024. Through 68 games he is hitting .258 with a .753 OPS; he has 13 doubles, one triple, 11 home runs, 37 RBI, 50 runs scored (T-8th in MLB), two stolen bases, and 26 walks.

Honorable Mention: SS – Corey Seager, OF – Adolis Garcia

Toronto Blue Jays: 1B- Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Guerrero wasn’t an option at the beginning of the season but he has turned it on in recent weeks. Through 69 games he is hitting .278 with a .772 OPS; he has 12 doubles, seven home runs, 30 RBI, 30 runs scored, two stolen bases, and 37 walks (11th in MLB).
