Probable Starting Pitchers

Game 1: Corbin Burnes (0-1, 5.28 ERA) vs. Colin Rea (0-0, 1.00 ERA)

Burnes will start game one for the Diamondbacks. He threw six innings in his last start against the Brewers. He did not factor in the decision. Burnes allowed four hits, three runs, two walks, and struck out three. Rea will go for the Cubs. Rea threw 3.2 innings in his first start last series against the Dodgers. He allowed four hits, one run, one walk, and struck out five.

Game 2: Zac Gallen (1-2, 4.64 ERA) vs. Ben Brown (2-1, 5.09 ERA)

Gallen will get the nod in game two for Arizona. Last time out he pitched six innings allowing five hits, two runs, three walks, and struck of five. Brown will get the start for the Cubs. Brown earned a win last time out against the Dodgers. He pitched six innings allowed five hits, no runs, no walks, and struck out five batters.

Game 3: Merrill Kelly (3-1, 5.57 ERA) vs. James Taillon (1-1, 5.40 ERA)

Kelly will finish out the series for the Diamondbacks on the mound. Kelly got a win last time out against the Marlins. He pitched six innings allowing three hits, one run, one walk, and struck out nine. Taillon will get the third game for the Cubs. In his last start against the Padres, he allowed three hits and two runs. He gave up one walk and struck out four over 5.1 innings.
