Minnesota Twins Roster Moves 4/10/2025

Twins Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Minnesota Twins are wrapping up their series with the Kansas City Royals this afternoon. The Twins dropped the first two games of the four-game series before picking up a 4-0 win last night. They expect to place Opening Day starter Pablo Lopez on the injured list. He has a Grade One right hamstring strain. Lopez is 1-1 with a 1.62 ERA, a 1.02 WHIP, and 14 strikeouts in 16.2 innings. He pitched on Tuesday. Lopez went 4.2 innings, giving up one unearned run on three hits; he walked one and struck out six.

Lopez was expected to make his next start on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers. However, he hit the injured list, so the rotation has shifted. Friday is now open for Minnesota. The most likely name to be called up is David Festa, who is slated to pitch tomorrow for St. Paul. The official move will come tomorrow when they can call up who will get the start for them.
