The Georgia Bulldogs baseball team is off to a 20-4 start after sweeping today’s doubleheader against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Entering this week they were still not ranked while Alabama was ranked the 11th-best team, after beating the Tide in a series you can expect the Bulldogs to slide into the Top 25 when the rankings are released on Monday. The Bulldogs’ offense this season has put up 243 runs to this point in their 24 games which equates to an average of 10.1 runs a game, that is due in large part to their outfielder/first baseman Charlie Condon who by MLB pipeline is the fourth-ranked prospect is the upcoming MLB draft. In the first mock draft by MLB pipeline, he is projected to go third overall to the Colorado Rockies who could use a bat like Condon’s. So what kind of season is Condon having?
Charlie Condon By The Numbers
Condon is a redshirt sophomore so he is playing in his second season for the Bulldogs. After high school, Condon didn’t have any offers leading him to be a walk on to this Bulldogs team.
