Detroit Tigers Roster Transactions | Inside The Diamonds

The Detroit Tigers begin a series against the Atlanta Braves tonight. They are coming off being swept by the Cleveland Guardians during the week and were outscored 14-6. The Tigers now have nine games left in the regular season and their lead over the Guardians for the division has shrunk to 3.5. With the stretch run coming the Tigers get back closer Kyle Finnegan as he is activated off the injured list. To make room for Finnegan the Tigers have optioned left-handed pitcher Bailey Horn to Triple-A Toledo. The Tigers also placed infielder Colt Keith on the 10-day injured list with right rib cage inflammation. To take Keith’s spot they recalled infielder Jace Jung from Triple-A Toledo.
