The Detroit Tigers will start a four-game series today against the Cleveland Guardians and coming off a weekend sweep of the Cincinnati Reds it appears there will be roster moves being made Akil Baddoo and Javier Baez are currently in the building with Baez taking batting practice. Baez has been out since June 11th with lumbar inflammation. Baddoo is in the clubhouse reportedly due to Parker Meadows likely going on the injured list after he left yesterday’s win with a hamstring injury. For Baez to be activated they are optioning Ryan Kreidler to Triple-A Toledo.

At Toledo this season in nine games he hit .160 with a .282 OPS; he had one home run, five RBI, two runs scored, one stolen base, and two walks.
OF – Parker Meadows
Meadows catches a tough break after just being recalled to the Tigers. In the last three games he had gone 4-11 with a double, a home run, two RBI, two runs scored, a walk, and a stolen base. It was a positive sign after he had gone 7-73 with a double, a triple, two home runs, three RBI, nine runs scored, three stolen bases, and 11 walks. At Triple-A Toledo he had played in 47 games hitting .298 with a .670 OPS; he had ten doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 24 RBI, 38 runs scored, 28 walks, and 19 stolen bases.
OF – Akil Baddoo
Baddoo was sent down by Detroit to Triple-A Toledo on July 5th. In his lone game, he went 1-6 with a double, and two runs scored. With the Tigers this year in 22 games he’s hit .132 with a .582 OPS; he has one double, two triples, two home runs, four RBI, seven runs scored, one stolen base, and eight walks. At Toledo in 41 games he hit .250 with a .690 OPS; he had eight doubles, four triples, six home runs, 22 RBI, 30 runs scored, 25 walks, and 16 stolen bases.
