Ahead of tonight’s start, the Tigers are activating catcher Jake Rogers from the injured list. Speculation is that catcher Tomás Nido will be designated for assignment to allow Rogers to return. Rogers has been out since April 7th with an oblique injury. In six games prior to the injury, he hit .222 with a .697 OPS. He had a triple, three runs scored, and four walks.
