The Detroit Tigers Triple-A affiliate the Toledo Mud Hens took on the Columbus Clippers for six games and they would split the series. Their Double-A affiliate the Erie SeaWolves took on the Orioles affiliate the Bowie Baysox, and they only played five of their six games due to rain with the SeaWolves winning just two games. The Tigers High-A affiliate the West Michigan Whitecaps split their series with Dayton. The Single-A affiliate Lakeland also split their series with the Clearwater Threshers.

Detroit Tigers Top 10 Prospects Check-In

OF – Max Clark – Lakeland Flying Tigers

Clark last week played in five games going 2-18 with a triple, two RBI, two runs scored, two stolen bases, and five walks. This season he is hitting .244 with a .705 OPS; he has one home run, 15 RBI, and eight stolen bases.

2B/3B – Colt Keith – Detroit Tigers

Keith last week in five games went 1-12 with a double, three RBI, a stolen base, and two walks. This season he has struggled hitting .152 with a .399 OPS; he has eight RBI and two stolen bases; he’s still looking for that first big league home run.

RHP – Jackson Jobe – Erie SeaWolves

Jobe got the ball on Wednesday going three innings, he didn’t allow a run or a hit; he walked one and struck out five. This season he is 0-1 with a 2.16 ERA, a 0.95 WHIP, and 24 strikeouts in 16.2 innings.

2B – Jace Jung – Toledo Mud Hens

Jung played in all six games going 6-21 with a double, a triple, a home run, three RBI, three runs scored, and five walks. This season he is hitting .263 with a .878 OPS; he has five home runs, 25 RBI, and one stolen base.

RHP – Wilmer Flores – Toledo Mud Hens

Flores made two appearances this week going 1-1. In his first outing in relief, he went 1.2 shutout innings, giving up one hit, walking one, and striking out three that came on Thursday and he got the win. On Friday in the second outing, he took the loss going two innings giving up two runs on two hits; he didn’t issue a walk and struck out three. This season he is 2-1 with a 5.12 ERA, a 1.71 WHIP, and 16 strikeouts in 19.1 innings.

RHP – Ty Madden – Toledo Mud Hens

Madden got called up to Triple-A Toledo this week and got the ball on Wednesday going three innings giving up seven runs on seven hits; he walked three and struck out four. Between Triple-A and Double-A, he is 0-0 in five starts with a 5.23 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts in 20.2 innings.

OF – Justyn Henry Malloy – Toledo Mud Hens

Malloy continues to stay hot picking up a hit in every game he played in last week. He went 5-14 with three doubles, a home run, three RBI, three runs scored, six walks, and one stolen base. This season he is hitting .279 with an .886 OPS; he has three home runs, 16 RBI, and two stolen bases.

INF – Kevin McGonigle – Lakeland Flying Tigers

McGonigle made his season debut two weeks ago, last week he played in four games going 3-13 with a double, an RBI, one run scored, two stolen bases, and three walks. Now through eight games, he is hitting .333 with a .925 OPS; he has three RBI and five stolen bases.

C – Dillon Dingler – Toledo Mud Hens

Dingler in four games last week went 5-15 with a double, two home runs, four RBI, three runs scored, and a walk. This season he is hitting .243 with a .747 OPS; he has four home runs and 13 RBI.

RHP – Keider Montero – Toledo Mud Hens

Montero made his sixth start of the season on Thursday going 4.1 innings giving up two runs, only one of which was earned on four hits; he walked one and struck out five. This season he has yet to record a decision with a 1.77 ERA, a 1.28 WHIP, and 25 strikeouts in 20.1 innings.
