RHP – John Murphy
The Reds have assigned Murphy to the roster ahead of their road game against the Colorado Rockies today. Last year Murphy spent time with Dayton Dragons in Single-A+ and Triple-A with the Louisville Bats. He appeared in 34 games with four wins and one loss. He had a 1.79 ERA over 40.1 innings pitched. He struck out 43 batters and had a 1.02 WHIP last year.
2B – Trey Faltine
The Reds also assigned Faltine to the roster ahead of their Cactus League game with the Rockies today. Faltine played at three levels last year. He spent time with the Daytona Beach Tortugas at Single-A, Dayton Dragons in Single-A+, and Triple-A with the Louisville Bats. He appeared in 87 games last year with a .207 batting average and a slash line of .340/.351/.691. He did have 10 doubles, six home runs, 30 RBIs, and stole 26 bases last year as well.

RHP – Brian Edgington
The Reds have assigned Edgington to the roster today ahead of their game with the Rockies. He played at two levels last year with the Daytona Beach Tortugas, and the Dayton Dragons. He made 23 starts last year with a losing record of four rins and eight losses. He had a 4.21 ERA over 113.1 innings. He did strike out 121 batters to go along with his 1.21 WHIP.
RHP – Trevor Kuncl
The Reds have assigned Kuncl to the roster ahead of today’s game with the Rockies. He was last with the Texas Rangers organization in 2024.
