The Boston Red Sox Triple-A affiliate in Worcester finished August going 18-10 and outscored their opponents 148-119. Double-A Portland went 18-10 in August and outscored their opponents 149-125. High-A Greenville went 14-13 and were outscored by their opponents 125-111. Single-A Salem finished the month 15-12 but were outscored by their opponents 125-117.

Mayer didn’t play in August and is likely done for the season following his promotion to Triple-A Worcester. This season he hit .307 with a .850 OPS; he has eight home runs, 38 RBI, 60 runs scored, and 13 stolen bases.
OF – Roman Anthony – Portland Sea Dogs/Worcester Red Sox
Anthony in August between the two levels hit .343 with a .954 OPS; he had six doubles, a triple, five home runs, 17 RBI, 28 runs scored, 14 walks, and three stolen bases. This season he is hitting .278 with a .869 OPS; he has 18 home runs, 55 RBI, 76 runs scored, and 16 stolen bases.
C – Kyle Teel – Portland Sea Dogs/Worcester Red Sox

RHP – Luis Perales – Portland Sea Dogs
Perales is out for the season after undergoing Tommy John surgery. He finished his season going 2-2 in nine starts with a 2.94 ERA, a 1.31 WHIP, and 56 strikeouts in 33.2 innings.
SS – Yoeilin Cespedes – Salem Red Sox
Cespedes has a broken left hand and didn’t play in August. This season he hit .319 with a 1.015 OPS; he had five home runs, 24 RBI, 20 runs scored, and three stolen bases.
RHP – David Sandlin – Portland Sea Dogs
Sandlin made five starts in August, going 0-2 with an 8.10 ERA, a 1.92 WHIP, and 23 strikeouts in 16.2 innings. This season in 16 starts he is 0-4 with a 5.85 ERA, a 1.45 WHIP, and 76 strikeouts in 52.1 innings.

In September the Red Sox Triple-A affiliate will take on the Toledo Mud Hens for one game then they will face the Rochester Red Wings the affiliate of the Washington Nationals, then the Mets affiliate the Syracuse Mets before ending the regular season at Lehigh Valley IronPigs the Phillies affiliate.
Portland Sea Dogs (71-53)
The Red Sox Double-A affiliate will take on the Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. They will finish the month then at the Blue Jays affiliate the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, then at home against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies before starting their playoff series who they will face hasn’t been determined yet.
Greenville Drive (59-66)
The Red Sox High-A affiliate the Greenville Drive will take on the Bowling Green Hot Rods, the affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays for one game before their final series against the Winston-Salem Dash the White Sox affiliate.
Salem Red Sox (66-59)
The Red Sox Single-A affiliate will take on the Delmarva Shorebirds the affiliate of the Orioles for one game. They will finish their season against the Kannapolis Cannons the affiliate of the White Sox.
