The Arizona Diamondbacks are 5-5 and start their series with the New York Mets this afternoon. The Diamondbacks split their four-game series with the Atlanta Braves. Arizona currently sits three games back from the Dodgers in the NL West. Before today’s game, Arizona announced three roster moves. They have transferred Jordan Lawlar to the 60-day injured list due to his wrist fracture. They also added another veteran to the 10-day injured list.

Carlos Santana

Carlos Santana has been placed on the 10-day injured list by the Arizona Diamondbacks. This move is retroactive to April 6th. He is dealing with a right abductor strain. Santana has struggled so far this season for the Diamondbacks. He has slashed .083/.154/.125 through eight games. Santana has two hits this season, one of which was a double. He has eight strikeouts this season and zero RBI.

Luken Baker

The Arizona Diamondbacks have selected the contract of Luken Baker from the Reno Aces. This move happened today ahead of their game with the Mets. Baker’s last big-league game was in 2025 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He appeared in 19 games and slashed .235/.366/.324 with three doubles and two RBI. This season with the Reno Aces, Baker has two doubles, one home run, and five RBI. He has slashed .242/.395/.424 in nine games.

Jordan Lawlar

The Arizona Diamondbacks have transferred Lawlar from the 10-day injured list. They moved him to the 60-day injured list because of his right wrist fracture. Lawlar played in six games this season for the Diamondbacks with one double, one home run, and two RBI. Before his injury, Lawlar was slashing .333/.400/.556 for the Diamondbacks.
