The Blue Jays will give the ball to a veteran Scherzer in Game 4 of the ALCS, who has not pitched yet in the postseason. Scherzer struggled during the regular season while he battled injuries, finishing with a 5.19 ERA across 85 innings. They (Blue Jays) will look to tie it up with a win. The Mariners will also turn to a veteran in Luis Castillo, who has pitched twice in the postseason. Castillo started Game 2 of the ALDS against Detroit and pitched in relief in Game 5. Between his two appearances this postseason, Castillo has pitched six complete innings and has only allowed one hit, while walking four and striking out four.
