Picks of the Day, 5/4

E-Rod has had a solid start for the Tigers. He squares off today with Justin Verlander, who is making his Mets debut

I am having a rough week. Another 1-2 day yesterday, so I’m looking for three easy wins today. I was totally unaware that the Mets are so bad, I just figured injuries are taking their toll, but man does that lineup stink. I also had the over in the Yankees game because: Clarke Schmidt…but the piece of schmidt actually had a great start. And, my only win needed 10 innings to hit the over in Oakland.

50-45 on the season. Only afternoon games today. May the Fourth be with you:
Pick #1
Mets @ Tigers. E-Rod to record Over 4.5 strikeouts, -115
If I wasnt having such bad luck this week, I’d do E-Rod to win at +245, but I need to shake this slump off. Tigers moneyline is +155, and I like that too, but I’m playing it safe. Verlander will be on a pitch limit, so avoid him.
Pick #2
Brewers @ Rockies, Brewers -1.5, +105
I’ve watched more Connor Seabold than anyone on earth. Trust me when I tell you that Seabold making his first start at Coors will not go well. O/U is high at 12, and MIL money line is only -145, so I’m doing the run line and making back some money. Miley has been solid thus far for the Brewers.
Pick #3
Orioles @ Royals, Orioles -1.5 Run line, -110
The Royals are not winning this series, especially with Lyles on the mound, Lyles is 0-5 and the Royals are 0-6 in games he starts.
Reach
Cody Bellinger to hit a home run +500.
Bellinger seems to have rediscovered his stroke. Patrick Corbin helps the cause.
