Picks of the Day, 5/15

The Astros need to get Framber Valdez some run support if they are going to claw their way back to the top of the AL West Troy Taormina-USA Today Sports

A drunken start to the MLB season is starting to sober up. The Pirates are out of first and 2-8 in the last 10. The Yankees are starting to play better. The Rays are coming back to the pack a bit. The Phillies finally got to .500, and the Cardinals have now won 2 straight series including a sweep of the Red Sox, who have also fallen back into last place where they belong. In the NL West, the Dodgers have surged into first and probably wont fall back again. The only teams playing way above or below expectations this week are the Padres who continue to struggle despite an incredible lineup, and the Mets who have fought of injury after injury, but should still be better than 20-21.

Now that normalcy is reigning once again, it’s time to make some some money.
66-56 on the season:
Pick #1
Mariners @ Red Sox Under 10 total Runs, -105
Kirby vs. Houck. Both have been decent. Houck has his ups and down, but can be dominant at times. 10 seems high. The Red Sox offense struggled against the Cardinals, and the Mariners allowed the 4th fewest runs in MLB. The Mariners bats rank in the middle of the pack.
Pick #2
Cubs @ Astros, Astros -1.5 Run Line, +110
Framber Valdez has pitched really well despite a 3-4 record. He hasn’t received any support from the lineup. The Astros have been underwhelming this year, but a fading Cubs team and James Taillon may just be the boost the ‘Stros need.
Pick #3
Angels @ Orioles, No Runs First Inning, -135
Shohei vs Grayson Rodriguez. These guys are tough ABs, especially the first trip through the lineup. i like Shohei Over 6.5 Ks too.
Bonus
3 game Parlay
: Padres, Reds, and DBacks Moneylines, +288
Reds have Hunter Greene facing Connor Seabold who shouldnt be in a major league rotation. Padres at home vs Brad Keller and the Royals. DBacks have been playing well and face Rucinski and his 8.16 ERA. If you want to spice it up, take the Run Lines at +659

Picks of the Day 5/13

2-1 yesterday. Strider annihilated the 8.5 strikeout line. He is so fun to watch, and the scary part is, he’s still developing. Kopech also got over his 4.5 Ks. The miss was MacKenzie Gore over 17.5 outs. Gore pitched a good game, 4 innings, 5 hits, 1 walk, no runs, but somehow ran his pitch […]
