Rich Hill
Hill has been in the big leagues for 20 seasons, making 386 appearances with 248 of those coming as starts, going 90-74 with a 4.01 ERA, a 1.26 WHIP, and 1,428 strikeouts in 1,409 innings. The Royals are the 16th different organization that Hill will have appeared in. Last season, he made four appearances with the Red Sox, going 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA, a 1.09 WHIP, and five strikeouts in 3.2 innings. In one start at Triple-A Worcester, he went two shutout innings, walking one and striking out two. His best season of his career came in 2016, making 20 starts, going 12-5 with a 2.12 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP, and 129 strikeouts in 110.1 innings. He spent that season with the Oakland A’s and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
