The Detroit Tigers are getting set to start a four-game series tonight against the Kansas City Royals. The Tigers have three roster spots to fill following the trades of Jack Flaherty, Mark Canha, and Andrew Chafin. The replacements will be RHP Brenan Hanifee, shortstop Javier Baez, and LHP Sean Guenther. There will likely be quite a few moves throughout this series as they’ll need a starter for the third and fourth game of the series as well as the possibility of Parker Meadows coming back to the team.
