The Washington Nationals started their series against the Miami Marlins tonight. They did however suffer a brutal loss as their starting shortstop CJ Abrams left tonight’s game with an apparent injury. It’s not clear what kind of injury Abrams is left with, though it may have something to do with the hip and/or thigh injury that kept him out of two games earlier in the week. If the former All-Star shortstop ends up needing to miss more time, Amed Rosario and Jose Tena could be candidates for candidates at the shortstop spot for the Nationals. Abrams this season in ten games is hitting .250 with an .879 OPS. He has two doubles, four home runs, seven RBI, six runs scored, three stolen bases, and two walks.
