The Cincinnati Reds have optioned the right-hand reliever to the Louisville Bats today. Diaz has pitched in six games for the Reds and has recorded two holds. He has pitched in six innings allowing eight hits, eight runs, four home runs, five walks, and struck out three. He has a 2.17 WHIP, a 12.00 ERA, and a .308 batting average against.
Chase Petty
The Cincinnati Reds had optioned Chase Petty back to Louisville Bats in Triple-A today after his start last night. Chase Petty is heading back to the Bats after starting the second game of the doubleheader yesterday. He pitched 2.1 innings, struck out three, allowed seven hits, nine runs, two home runs, and walked two. He will head back to Triple-A and continue to develop.
Luis Mey
The Reds have recalled the right-hand pitcher Luis Mey from Triple-A. Mey has pitched 10 games this year in Triple-A all in relief. He has a 1-1 record and a 4.00 ERA. Mey has pitched nine innings allowing seven hits, four runs, seven walks, and struck out ten. Mey has allowed a .212 batting average and a 1.56 WHIP.
