Chicago Cubs Top 10 Prospects Check-In
OF – Pete Crow-Armstrong – Iowa Cubs
Crow-Armstrong played in four games for the Iowa Cubs this series. He had 19 at-bats with, one run scored, two hits, 11 Ks, and one steal. He slashed .105/.105/.105 with a .210 OPS on the series.
RHP – Cade Horton – Tennessee Smokies
Horton made his first start of the season for the Smokies this series. He threw four innings gave up four hits, one earned run, hit one batter, and struck out four. He finished with a 2.25 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. He should make his next start on Tuesday, April, 16th.
OF – Owen Caissie – Iowa Cubs
Caissie played in five games in This series. He had 20 at-bata, two runs scored, three hits, two doubles, two RBIs, three walks, six Ks, and slashed ..150/.216/.250 with a .511 OPS On the series.
1B – Michael Busch – Chicago Cubs
Michael Busch played in five games this week for the Cubs. He had 17 at-bats, five runs scored, eight hits, one double, five home runs, seven RBIs, four walks, and five strikeouts, and slashed .471/.571/1.412 with a 1.983 OPS on The week.
OF – Kevin Alcantara – Tennessee Smokies

2B – James Triantos – Tennessee Smokies
Triantos played in five games for the Cubs this series. He had 18 at-bats, one run scored, one hit, one RBI, one walk, two walks, three strikeouts, one stolen base, and slashed .056/.150/.056 with a .206 OPS on the week.
P – Jordan Wicks – Chicago Cubs
Jordan Wicks pitched Friday, April, 12th against the Seattle Mariners going four innings he gave up five hits, four earned runs, four walks, and struck out six. He did take the loss. His ERA now sits at 5.68 on the year and a 1.89 WHIP on the season. His next start would come Wednesday, April, 17th against the Miami Marlins.
RHP – Ben Brown – Chicago Cubs
Brown pitched on April, 9th against the San Diego Padres going 4.2 innings, giving up three hits, one walk, and struck out five. He gave up zero runs and pitched well in his outing. He will make a start on April 15th against the Arizona Diamondbacks and then again on Saturday, April, 20th against the Miami Marlins.
1B – Moises Ballerestos – Tennesee Smokies
Ballesteros played in four of the games this week. He had 13 at-bats, four runs, four hits, one double, one home run, three RBIs, three walks, two strikeouts, and slashed .308/.471/.615 with a 1.086 OPS this week.

Iowa Cubs (9-6)
The Iowas Cubs went four and two against the St. Paul Saints this past series improving their record to 9-6 on the season. They will host the Louisville Bats to play a six-game series next. The Louisville Bats are the Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds with a 5-3 Record on the year. The Cubs will face one of the Reds top prospects Connor Phillips in the series.

The Tennessee Smokies first game of the series against the Chattanooga Lookouts was Postponed due to rain, as was Thursday’s game. In the five games they played, they won two and lost three against the Lookouts. They kick off a series at home against the Montgomery Biscuits the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday, April, 16th for six games.
