Boston Red Sox Trade Superstar to San Francisco Giants

Series Preview: Boston Red Sox at San Francisco Giants with Probable Pitchers 6/20-6/22

The Boston Red Sox following a sweep of the New York Yankees today have traded superstar designated hitter Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants. The return is reportedly right-handed pitchers Kyle Harrison and Jordan Hicks as well as the giants fourth-ranked prospect James Tibbs and 20-year-old righty Jose Bello. Devers hit a solo home run today in the Red Sox 2-0 win over the Yankees. This season Devers has had issues with lack of hustle and refusing to play first base when the team needed him to but the trade comes at a surprising time as the Red Sox have won seven of their last eight.
