They play three games on the road against the Mets starting tonight. They will then head to Philadelphia for three games over the weekend. Arizona will return home to host the Mets for three games. Following that, they will face the Dodgers for a four-game series. As if that wasn’t tough enough, they have a three-game series in San Francisco. Afterward, they will host the Rockies for three games at home. Before tonight’s game, the Diamondbacks have announced two roster moves. Optioning one pitcher to Triple-A and another was reinstated from the injured list.

Kevin Ginkel
The Diamondbacks have reinstated Kevin Ginkel from the 15-day injured list. Ginkel returns from his right shoulder injury tonight to make his season debut. He has pitched in two games in Triple-A. He has a 13.50 ERA and a 3.00 WHIP after 1.1 innings of work. Last yeat for Arizona he had an 8-3 record in 72 games pitched. Ginkel pitched 70 innings and recorded 77 strikeouts on the year. Ginkel had a 3.21 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP in 2024.
Drey Jameson
The Diamondbacks have optioned Jameson to the Reno Aces in Triple-A. Jameson has pitched in three games this season for the Diamondbacks this year. He has lost one game and has one save. Jameson has a 3.00 ERA, a .400 batting average against, and a 2.33 WHIP.
